These parliamentary entities include : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The House of Commons ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Senate ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Library of Parliament ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Parliamentary Protective Service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Organizations subject to the action plans at the provincial level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Only the organizations covered by section 61.1 of the Act are required under law to annually submit an action plan concerning persons with disabilities. These organizations are : These organizations are :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ophq.gouv.qc.ca\/plans-daction\/ministeres-et-organismes-publics-assujettis-a-larticle-611-de-la-loi.html#c7842\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">government departments and agencies with at least 50 employees<\/a> ;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The integrated health and social services centres (CISSS), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ophq.gouv.qc.ca\/plans-daction\/ministeres-et-organismes-publics-assujettis-a-larticle-611-de-la-loi.html#c12341\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">integrated university health and social services centres (CIUSSS)<\/a> and the unamalgamated institutions (ENF).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ophq.gouv.qc.ca\/plans-daction\/municipalites-assujetties-a-larticle-611-de-la-loi.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Local municipalities with a population of at least 10,000.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Principal areas of application for municipalities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accessibility to municipal buildings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Municipal administration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Libraries<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Urban planning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communication and information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Housing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recreation, culture, sports and community life<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Parks and green spaces<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safety (at home and in the living environment)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Contents of the action plans at the federal level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizations must include a section corresponding to each of the areas covered by the Accessible Canada Act, as needed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Employment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Built environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information and information and communications technology (ICT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communications, other than ICT<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acquisition of goods, services and facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and delivery of programs and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transit<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>Contents of the action plans at the provincial level<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each action plan must include at least one measure in each of the following categories :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Promotion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessibility of services offered<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessibility in the workplace with respect to hiring, working conditions and job retention<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessibility of buildings, places and facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accessibility of information and documents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adaptation for special situations : emergency, public health and public safety situations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Procurement of accessible goods and services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Adaptation in the context of any other activity that is likely to impact persons with disabilities<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\r\n    <div class=\"border-container\"><\/div>\r\n<\/section>\r\n\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Organizations subject to the action plans at the federal level The Act provides for the preparation and publication of accessibility plans and applies to organizations falling under federal jurisdiction, in particular : The Government of Canada, including all federal departments...<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/guide.cophan.org\/en\/about-the-guide\/jurisdictions-and-areas-of-application-of-the-action-plans\/\" class=\"btn\">Read more <span class=\"sr-only\">about Jurisdictions and areas of application of the action plans<\/span><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":1146,"menu_order":5,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-1280","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.2 -
